Sahara Appeal
Time is rapidly running out for 170,000 women and children. The security stock of basic foodstuffs in the Saharawi refugee camps will be exhausted at the end of October, according to the Saharawi Red Crescent (CRS).
To cover food needs until the end of 2006, the CRS needs 7.700 tonnes of basic foodstuffs. | Flour | 6,000 tonnes | @ £156 per tonne |

With your kind support, The Penny On Trust in partnership with a number of aid organisations will work towards an urgent solution. Volunteer aid workers will then go and buy the food and supervise its delivery with Saharawi resources into the camps. Ensuring that every penny you donate will get to where it’s needed most.
